Tickets & Validity

1Can tickets be purchased on site?
Tickets can be purchased at the box office in the IMMERSIUM:WIEN foyer. However, we recommend buying tickets online in advance at a reduced price. In addition to cheaper ticket prices, the desired time slot can be easily reserved online.
2My desired time slot is fully booked online, are tickets still available on site?
If the desired time slot is fully booked online, there are no more tickets available to buy on site for this slot.
3I'm running late and won't be there on time for my time slot. What happens?
Please be on site in good time. We recommend 15 minutes before the start of your time slot. Late arrival does not guarantee admission. Tickets lose their validity if they are delayed.
4I have already bought a ticket but cannot come. What happens to the ticket?
Tickets are only valid for the day and the selected time slot and cannot be canceled. However, tickets can be rebooked online or on site up to 24 hours BEFORE the selected time slot. You can find the rebooking fee per ticket in the online store (button bottom left)
5Can I go in and out with my ticket during my booked time slot?
No. Admission to the world of experience is one-way. The foyer on the ground floor with our IMMERSIUM:SHOP, the toilets and lockers is also accessible without a ticket during the opening hours listed.
6Can I redeem or book a ticket without a time slot?
Entry to the exhibition rooms is only possible with a time slot. To ensure that all visitors can enjoy the full experience, admission is timed. To ensure your preferred date and time for your visit, we recommend booking your tickets as soon as possible. Don't forget, the earlier you book, the higher the discount on tickets in the online store.

Prices, discounts & payment methods

1Can I pay by card on site?
Payment on site is possible in cash as well as by debit and credit card.
2What discounts are available?
When purchasing IMMERSIUM:WIEN tickets online, all visitors benefit from discounted conditions. You will also find additional discounts in our tariffs.
3Are there discounts for wheelchair users and people with disabilities?
Yes. These are constantly updated in the online store or under prices. Registered accompanying persons have free admission to the exhibition and do not require a separate ticket.
4Can I book the additional service of the VR Ride on site at short notice in addition to my ticket?
Yes. If you decide to do the VR Ride at short notice, you can book an upgrade on site.

Interesting facts about the visit

1Is the IMMERSIUM:WIEN barrier-free?
All IMMERSIUM:WIEN premises are barrier-free and therefore wheelchair-accessible. Please note that the route in the exhibition varies for people with reduced mobility.
2Can I walk through the premises with my baby carriage?
Access to the IMMERSIUM:WIEN foyer is barrier-free. Baby carriages are not permitted in the exhibition rooms. We recommend using the parking spaces provided for this purpose.
3Are there accessible toilets?
Access to the toilets is barrier-free.
4Is there a baby changing room?
Baby changing rooms are available on site.
5Are there checkrooms?
Personal belongings can be stored in the lockers available on site.
6Can I bring food and drink?
Eating and drinking is not permitted in the exhibition rooms.
7How long can I stay at IMMERSIUM:WIEN?
We recommend that you plan around 60 minutes for your visit to IMMERSIUM:WIEN.
8I have lost/forgotten something on site.
You are welcome to contact us directly at office@immersium.at. Our team will take care of your request quickly.
9Are pets/dogs allowed?
Pets (including dogs) are not permitted on the premises. Assistance dogs and guide dogs are excluded. To prepare the animals, we refer at this point to the use of projections and installations with strong visual and acoustic elements.
10In which languages is the program available at IMMERSIUM:WIEN?
The current exhibition is available in German and English. As it is an immersive experience with interactive stations, realistic projections, visual representations and playful elements, the focus is on the visual experience.
11Where does the content of the IMMERSIUM:VIENNA world of experience come from?
The IMMERSIUM:VIENNA experience is technically, graphically and digitally developed and designed in Austria. The content is developed, tested and designed in collaboration with national and international experts from the respective genres.
12Do I need to download an app on my smartphone before my visit to get the full experience?
No apps are required for the visit.
13Is there an age limit?
The IMMERSIUM:WIEN adventure museum is recommended from the age of 4. Selected activities can only be used from the age of 4 and/or with an accompanying person. he VR Ride may only be used by children aged 6 and over.
14Is there a merchandising online store?
There is currently no online store with merchandising products. The IMMERSIUM:SHOP is open during the designated opening hours and is accessible without a ticket via the ground floor. Visitors can expect a fine selection of children's toys, souvenirs, coloring books and plush mascots.


1How can I travel by public transport?

2Are there parking facilities on site?
We recommend traveling by public transport. There are no direct parking facilities. If you are traveling by car, you will find public, paid parking garages in the immediate vicinity.

Groups, schools & kindergartens

Group and school class inquiries should be sent to office@immersium.at. In order to guarantee a larger selection of possible desired time slots, we recommend sending us a request at least three working days before the planned visit.

4Can I book a children's birthday party at IMMERSIUM:WIEN?
A separate party room is available for children's birthday parties up to a maximum of 16 children. Further information on party packages and additional services can be found under Party room.
